Alex will be doing a talk on Psionics.
After practicing Psionics for 15+ years, my hope is to promote an understanding. I realize that many people look at Psi as a junk discipline, when in fact it is how many of us started. My goal is to hopefully dispel some myths, answer questions and mainly promote understanding. As I've often said "We are all cut from the same cloth. What we practice is a means to an end." |

Panel 1: When will then be now? ... Soon. How does time and 3 dimensional living shape a magical view of the world? Magic after a while isn't something you just do, it becomes a part of you and your view on the world around you. This panel is to discuss how their magical path alters their view of the world and the events in it. |
Jeff will be presenting on a lecture entitled: "Discordian Magic"
Fish, 42 and popes...How do these things go together for ultimate magical power... |
Panel 2: Theurgy vs Thaumaturgy | |
Caryn Connolly will be holding a workshop on how to communicate with fairies, tree spirits, and other elementals, using intuition and oracle cards, beginning with a general overview of the topic, setting up the altar, calling in the elementals, etc. The complexity of the workshop depends on time available and questions from the audience. |
Cliff will be presenting on:
"The History and Practice of Black Magic" This will be a lecture on destructive and coercive magic and darkside spirituality, covering techniques from many traditions, best practices, philosophy, ethics, history, and interpretation. We will pose thought-provoking questions on how all of this fits into a balanced and strong magical life. |
Heather will be doing a lecture entitled "The Art of Magick"
The theory of art - that of color, shape, line, perspective, and composition - affects us at deep psychological levels and thus can be powerful magical tools. These apply and can be used even if you believe you can't draw! Learn more in this presentation, complete with demonstrations and discussion. |
As a last minute change, Jason will be doing a lecture entitled:
Financial Sorcery! Tired of books on magic and pointing out that wealth is measured in friends and health rather than finances? How about the old line that spiritual people would be beyond money or that money is the root of all evil? Don't Listen! Lack of money is the root of far more problems than money itself, and unless you live in a monastery you are going to have to master Mammon before he masters you! In this class, Jason Miller will share the secrets of financial sorcery that actually works. Learn how to break out of short term money drawing efforts, and develop a long term strategy for attaining financial freedom through magic. Never mind the positive-think fairy fluff of The Secret and other wish games, learn how to really take control of your money and make Mammon your bitch! |
Arthur will be presenting on:
Omnimancy: Astral Biology The spirit is normally simply referred to in many texts, and rarely gone into much detail other than certain abstractions about what is actually making it up or how it works and why. Within Omnimancy, many years of study and experimentation have not only yielded a practical mapping of how things work, but how to use that to one's advantage. While certainly not everything can be covered as complex as a spirit really is, the lecture aims to give an anatomy of a human spirit, as well as some practical spells based on this knowledge for both healing and enhancements. |
Andrei will be presenting on a lecture entitled: "Calling Magickal Bullst"
Magick, Faith, and Group Dynamics are all one part belief, one part ego, one part mystery, and one part make it up as you go. When ego crosses 'making it up' Magick has the penchant for becoming an alpha battle for who's bullst is more convincing. Finding the (often femtowidthly fine) line between mystery and muck can be a nearly impossible task. Knowing how to recognise when the aspirant is being lead astray becomes a mighty task, only second to knowing how to call the perpetrator in the act. "Calling Magickal Bullst" aims to help recognise M.B.'s origins, signs, dangers, and safe escapes. Note: Isaac Bonewits originally had this slot but had to cancel last minute because of a medical condition. |
Shawn will be doing a lecture entitled:
"The Magical Universe for Fun and Prophet" Years of on-again, off-again relationships with magical communities, magical theories, and magical practices have given me an unorthodox perspective on the magical universe and its inhabitants. In this talk I will present very little how-to and a lot more of my personal observations, anecdotes, and ideas about just what magick is, what it represents, and why we do it in the first place. |
Persephone will be presenting on Seduction Magick
All seduction is magick, but in this class you will learn how to effectively use both magickal and mundane techniques to properly, elegantly seduce... with minimal side effects. Effectively conducting energy to attract attention, using magickal links (material, human and psychic) to open a connection, and sealing that connection for a successful relationship is easy... if you know a few tricks. This class is not just about sexual seduction. The techniques taught can help you get a job, win a political campaign, or get your first novel published. |
