Alex will be doing a talk on Psions and Psionics, and their culture.
After practicing Psionics for 15+ years, my hope is to promote an understanding. I realize that many people look at Psi as a junk discipline, when in fact it is how many of us started. My goal is to hopefully dispel some myths, answer questions and mainly promote understanding. As I've often said "We are all cut from the same cloth. What we practice is a means to an end." |

Panel Discussion: Magic behind closed doors.
With many magical order's information freely available on the internet, should magic's secrets be public or should it remain shrouded? |
|
Andrei will be speaking on Theatrical Tools for Ritual Performance (Part 1)
In crafting Ritual Drama, we spend painstaking hours studying god forms, mystical correspondences, arcane languages, and symbolic representations. Our tool set must not stop there, though, for that is only part of the equation in Ritual Drama. The text, performance, environment, and participation of those assembled all come from an art form that is as old as communication itself: Theatre. In this class we will examine the tools of the Theatre world and how they can be employed in conjunction with Ritual to raise energy and complement the intended magickal work. |
|
Panel Discussion: Ethics? Who needs them?
It's time again for the Crucible Ethics Panel. |

Rich will be presenting a lecture on the Runes and other Wyrdness.
Arthur will be speaking on Omnimancy. (This will likely be a workshop lecture mix.)
Inominandum presents Ensorcelling: The Arts of Influence and Persuasion
There is no more quintessential power of the sorcerer than the ability to influence the mind of another. "Charmed", "enchanted", "spellbound", "fascinated" and "ensorcelled" are all terms that once indicated occult influence but now have become common expressions in English for people acting out of obsession with, or under the control of, someone or something. In this class Jason will present an approach to the arts of influence and persuasion that seamlessly blends psychology and sorcery. Techniques to be used in the temple and in the field, as well as a short discussion of ethics will be presented. |
|
Chuckie will be speaking on Radionics and Psionics. This will be a "telepresence" lecture. (Meaning, his lecture will be done via remote live video since he lives in Chicago and wasn't able to make it in person). This will be his first lecture in many years.
Isaac will be speaking on a lecture entitled "Laws of Magic".
Shawn presents: The magical system as art and science
By learning from complex systems like the human being, we may consider the pros and cons of complexity in our magical systems. This presentation will be a series of musings on the relationship between magick, art, and science, and how techniques from the latter may be used to refine the former. |
|
Jow will be doing a lecture on Geomancy.
